Adding soybeans to your daily meals can help in cancer prevention. In menopausal women, a recent study concluded that women whose diet was high in soy protein foods were least likely to develop breast cancer. In fact, women who eat twice as much soy protein as the average female had half the risk of breast cancer.
It's important to note that only the protein in soybeans appears to have anti-cancer effects. So only include whole soybeans, soy milk, and tofu in your diet not soy sauce or soy bean oil.
