The "Filipino Assassin" Phillipe Nover Prepares for TUF 8 Showdown

Phillipe Nover, is a Filipino-American Mixed Martial Artist out of Brooklyn, New York. He was applauded by UFC President Dana White for his accomplishments during his stint in The ULTIMATE FIGHTER Season 8. This is also the reason why Dana decided to put on the show in the Philippines by May of 2009.

He has been awarded his Black Belt in Brazillian Jiu-jitsu by Gracie Barra's Alexandre "SOCA" Freitas last December 6th 2008. Phillipe will go toe to toe with fellow TUF contestant Efrain Escudero and vie for the $100,000 contract and becomes the next big UFC star. The TUF finale will be on Saturday, December 13, 2008 live at the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada and televised at Spike TV 9 p.m. ET .

He also had said that we wanted to emulate what Manny Pacquaio did in the sport of boxing and bring the same intensity in the growing sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
