Alibata Tattoo

Alibata is a primitive writing system of the Filipinos. It has existed even before the Spanish conquerors came to the Philippines and was used up until the end of the 19th century.

It rose to popularity again in the modern times not as a writing system but as designs for tattoos. Many Filipinos around the globe have used Alibata writing as their tattoos to give credit or represent their roots.
